Design Features
CSI Hobby Greenhouse is a family owned and operated business, which began manufacting greenhouses in 1994. It began out of necessity, due to a lack of being able to find a greenhouse that could withstand the wind, snow and hail activity in Colorado! Through customer input, our independent structural engineer and additional specialized manufacturing, we have developed the strongest, longest lasting greenhouses anywhere!
We use steel for the frame of all of our greenhouses. This is important due to the properties that steel has. It heats gradually as the sun comes up and then cools gradually when the sun goes down. This helps the greenhouse stay warmer, longer.
- All of our greenhouse models utilize four-foot-wide panels for structural strength, easy transportation, and assembly.
- The galvanized-steel frames have pre-punched holes for easy assembly and the twin-walled polycarbonate sheeting is already installed from us!
- The wall and roof panels are combined to assist in the ease of assembly. The simple paneling structure allows two people to assemble the greenhouse in 2-3 hours (larger greenhouses may require more time).
- We use steel earth anchors to stabilize the structure against high wind and snow loads.

We can ship by motor carrier or you can save freight charges by picking up a greenhouse from our office. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted.
